Our Judo Club Story
Ni Bonchi Judo Club was founded by John Fairhall in 1981. The club is now more than he could have ever imagined.

We welcomes ages 5 and up to join us for a fun and friendly experience. You can participate at a level where you are comfortable, whether that means doing it for fun or training to compete!

Ni Bonchi is registered with Judo Australia (JA) which is incorporated with the International Judo Federation (IJF) and International Olympic Committee (IOC).
What is Judo?
Judo is a Japanese martial art and sport that uses technique and leverage to throw or immobilise an opponent. It is known as "the gentle way" and focuses on efficiency and minising effort. Judo techniques involve grappling, wrestling and throwing, with the goan of achieving a pin, submission or forcing the opponent to tap out.
